Empowering Those Facing Unexpected Pregnancy

About

Be the change you want to see in the world.

- Mahatma Gandhi

37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not        condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

- Luke 6:37-38

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

I can't imagine facing an unexpected pregnancy, or a pregnancy with severe complications, in today's environment. Having faced an unexpected pregnancy, myself at a young age, I can attest to how frightening, isolating and difficult it can be. And when I faced it there wasn't the political turmoil there is today on the topic. Laws were not changing day by date and state by state regarding what I legally was or wasn't allowed to decide. My heart goes out to anyone who is facing this today. Ultimately that is what drove me to start Abbi's Home. I wanted to create a safe space, a home like environment, where people can come to gather information on their options, to ask questions, and to find resources. I want to create a platform that helps people make an informed decision, the decision that is right for them & their circumstance.

This is very much a work in progress. I have plans to continue to build resources, become a nonprofit enabling us to run a donation program, etc. Please be patient while we grow. But please speak up if you can't find what you need, if you have recommendations on additional resources or references, or if you just want to show your support.
